There are very few all-inclusive options in the United States, even fewer on a coastline. My family and I love Florida, we visit often (probably more me than them) for various reasons. Like most visitors to Miami, Florida, we go for clear blue waters and warm (hot, humid) weather but also for incredible food.
Not everyone likes to get out and be adventurous in their foodie finds like us though. The amount of traffic in Miami is enough to make you not want to leave the resort you’re staying in too. Several prayers have been answered…Now you can experience the gourmet food trends of South Florida at Eden Roc Miami Beach with their new all-inclusive plan. Yes, at a beach front resort surrounded by coconut palms and a chic vibe 🙂
Here are some of highlights of Eden Roc’s all-inclusive plan:
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at select venues – Malibu Farm, Gitano, and hotel in room dining
Bar & Snack service by the pool
Alcoholic (select brands) and non-alcoholic beverages
Select in-room min bar items – includes soft drinks, juices, and beer
Eden Roc is the ONLY resort in Miami Beach to offer an all-inclusive package. The resort also has a spa, meeting space, and is a great venue for weddings as well as honeymoons. No passport needed and you’re a day trip away from my home away from home, the Florida Keys. I like to think the ‘Floribbean’ begins in Miami 🙂
Call me to plan this fabulous Miami Beach trip for you while you pack your bikini, speedos, and sunscreen!

You cannot miss the Hawai’i Food & Wine Festival in October! The festival offers everything a true Foodie loves to experience – culture, locally grown produce, products made locally, authentic Hawaiian food from local chefs.
Three islands, Maui, Oahu, and Hawai’i will have culinary events October 14-30. Six whole days of epicurean heaven! Check out the extensive list of chefs and mixologists (local and international) under the ‘Talent’ section of their website, www.hawaiifoodandwinefestival.com. There are three (3) Master Sommeliers…sometimes I wish I had their job!
East coasters, if you can fit some extra time in your travel schedule, we suggest planning a 7-10 day trip due to the time that it takes to fly. Check out the daily events on each island & we’ll help you island hop in style so that we can live vicariously through you!

I’ve waited a long time to visit Wild Dunes Resort. I ‘live’ here part time with family and really have no excuse for not taking a site tour of this property.
The recent 3 day span of non-stop rain caused quite a bit of flooding on the island and golf course so my visit today was mainly of the accommodations and nearby grounds. There’s so much offered by this resort, I have no complaints on coming back another time (or two) to check out the golf course and event space. Oh, and the spa!
My favorite way to be greeted upon arrival to a hotel/resort…VALET! Thank you Richard for being such a kind gentleman in opening the car door. And thank you, Michael at the front desk for storing my raincoat that I thankfully didn’t need.
The Boardwalk Inn is the host to a variety of deluxe suites and a very frequently booked Presidential suite that I hope is available when I return. The Village at Wild Dunes has more spacious accommodations with kitchens and gorgeous balcony views. Private vacation homes for multi-families can also be rented weekly during peak season (summertime) and for fewer nights in the off season.
There isn’t a bad view from any suite, villa, or anywhere really all over the resort. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and how can you beat a panoramic view of the ocean from the 5th floor? I love how the homes have been painted to resemble Rainbow Row in downtown Charleston.
If you’re going to spend more than a few days here, go with the Village at Wild Dunes. They have one, two, and three bedroom villas with kitchens that will make any epicurean drool, living space, incredible balconies, and luxurious baths.
There are small shops, bicycle rentals, plenty of bars and restaurants, an ice cream shop (of course I spotted that) and ladies…the spa boutique has everything you could possibly need if you forgot anything. Jewelry, Jane Iredale cosmetics, locally made candles, bath products, shoes and wait for it…Escapada clothing! Escapada is known nationally and founded locally in Charleston.
I saved the best for last…adults only pool and private cabanas.
